Sugar Cubes

I made these for a babyshower - sugarcubes that will sit on the tea and coffee table. The details are made from fondant.

This photo makes them look large but each cube is only a teaspoon.

too cute...how do you attach the fondant pieces to the cube? Are you suppose to remove that part before putting into your coffee or tea?

Thanks everyone. Charman, I attach the fondant to the cubes with tylose glue which is entirely edible. The fondant pieces just melt into the tea and coffee so there's no need to remove them. Katskakes, I made a mold of some buttons using food grade casting gel; and then put my fondant into the molds to get the impressions.
