The Barn Wedding Reception
Wedding cupcakes and cake held in a renovated old barn. 200 cupcakes = 100 devil's food with butter cream + 100 milk chocolate vanilla with chocolate butter cream. Cake is an 8" round cake that was decorated with fondant and gumpaste. I also made the cupcake tower, too! It was fun!
Oh boy, I LOVE the idea of a reception in a barn! Nice job on the stand! Great idea, and very appropriate to the setting, not to mention the burlap! I ove it!!! It's a gotta save.

Those are pretty. Have to ask, are those hydrangeas that were stuck into the cupcakes. Are they real? Not sure if you know it but if they are hydrangeas are condisdered a poisonous non edible flowers. If they are gumpaste, you did a great job on the.
Thank you for the lovely comments! :) The cupcake tree was made of three crates with two boards in between the crates. I just took a lamp rod and ran it up the middle utilizing chair legs! LOL!! :lol: As for the hydrangea's - They are NOT real...no worries! I made them from gumpaste. Never again, I might add! :cry: Too time consuming!!
