Help! What Do All These Letters Mean?

I am new to cake central and have really enjoyed interacting will others that enjoy the art of cakes. However, I am having some difficulty in reading some if the post. What do all of these initials stand for such as BC, NFSC, IMBC, ect.? Thanks for the help.

BC= Buttercream
IMBC= Italian Meringue Buttercream
FBCT= Frozen Buttercream Transfer

It is a sticky topic at the very top in the "General" section. Most of the sections have very helpful sticky topics at the top that will answer a lot of questions newbies (and some not-so-newbies ) have.
