Has anyone tried the Dream Whip cake recipe? It's a box cake, an envelope of dream whip and eggs I believe.
What do you think of it? Good?

And also....what is dream whip and where do I find it?

Thanks! birthday.gif

Dream Whip is a whipped topping that you make by adding cold milk to the contents of the package. You should find it in the baking supply section of your store, here it is sold in boxes containing 1 or two envelopes. It may be near the pudding section.
There seems to be mixed reviews on this recipe. A couple of people really like it, others think it is a waste of money. I wasn't impressed, but we are all different.

never used the cake mix but have used the icing. dream whip is usually by the jello and pudding mixes at our local stores which is usually right by the cake mixes.

Never made the icing, but I thought the cake was dry. I wouldn't try it again.

I have tried the dream whip in the cake and thought it turned out a bit dry for my tastes and haven't used it since.
I've also tried the icing, didn't like it but found out I mixed it up wrong and just haven't tried it again the right way.
