Should I delete my pictures that are from when I first started decorating cakes? They aren't very good and I don't know if they are even doing anyone any good by being in the Gallery. I don't want to feel like I am wasting precious space.
What do y'all do? Do y'all delete cakes you aren't crazy about?

Oh, I would not worry about that too much. The photos are only available to members - and we all know that the pics on the last pages are our first works.

I would leave them. Sometimes I just look at peoples pics and enjoy seeing how they have progressed and improved with each cake they post. It encourages newbies to keep on practicing.

Heath and Jackie have said that they have plenty of space for pictures, so please don't delete yours! The ones you're not crazy about might be the ones to inspire someone else!

NO! DON'T DELETE THEM!!!!!
If all there were on this website were professionally decorated cakes, I would never post any of mine, or even talk on the forums. (Oh, dear, I hope that wasn't a reason for you TO delete them!) icon_biggrin.gif I belong to several other websites where that IS the case, and never type a word...
It actually helps a newbie to decorating to see the older cakes (that we are going to try to copy and know we have a shot at making at least recognizable), and then to see what that same person is capable of now.

There will always be someone who is also just starting out, and who will appreciate looking at the pictures. I know that the "professional" cake designs are probably out of my league, but seeing the picturtes of the not-so-professional cakes give me ideas that I can use and incorporate in my own cakes. Hope I made sense.

Also, if you accidentally loose the files that you have on your pc of these pics, at least you have a back-up copy on CC thumbs_up.gif
