Make sure I have my son dressed, fed, changed, and relatively happy. He's 16 months right now, so this poses a serious daily challenge for me.

I guess i also feel compelled to make sure the house is somewhat picked up before I leave.

My DH leaves the house at 5:30 in the morning and I'm usually still asleep. But I really like that many of you say "I love you" before parting ways with your loved ones. I say it to my son when i drop him off for daycare, but i should wake up to say bye to my DH.

I do this too, but it is getting harder for me as the three boys are all starting to wear the same size and style. icon_cry.gif So I just leave a "sock basket" on the dryer. If you run out then dig a pair out! Now the girls are easier...big difference in shoe size still. I hate socks!! We generally have one entire washer load of nothing but socks!

My younger teenager makes the coffee every morning and then comes in to make sure that I am awake before they leave for school. And I ALWAYS have to say "have a good day today and I love you" before all the kids leave for school. The two teenage boys still try to get out of the house before I can say it but I just open the door and holler it before they make it on the bus. I just love embarassing them, they get so bent out of shape about it! BTW, we are raising five comedians in our home, six if you include Dad, which is where the get it from!!

Heehee, you are my kind of Mom! You might want to add, "Be careful because you are Mommy's precious cargo" to really embarass them, haha! I found it worked very well when my youngest was a teenager, along with the line about being a good girl! Have to get our jollies somewhere, haha!

You know, you would think they would learn not to sneak out of the house. Just face the music, let mom say what she has to say in the confines of the house, because you know she's gonna do it anyways! icon_lol.gif

Let's see...I hate mornings! Sooo, I am always running right on the edge of LATE!! I give myself just enough time to shower, brush my teeth, put on makeup, do my hair, kiss the hubby buh-bye and "I love you", close the bedroom door behind me. I am still naked usually at this point because somewhere in that chaos I threw my clothes in the dryer to "iron". Run through the kitchen into the laundry room, throw my clothes on - can't button my pants yet because the heat from the dryer has the buttons unbearably hot! I then give a quick glance in the mirror and then grab my cellphone, keys, purse, bookbag and lock and close the door behind me. I get to the truck just to realize I forgot to feed Bo, my doggy!! Take just a moment to decide if I have enough time to get back in the house and feed Bo before the school bus and the mile-long line of cars behind it blocks me in my driveway for the next 2-3 minutes!! If I don't think I'm going to get out in the road before the bus gets me, I will just go ahead and leave and call my husband (who is still in bed) and tell him to feed Bo!!

Wow! I just got my blood pressure up just typing that!!

Clearly I am a woman of habit!

This was funny this morning...my husband woke up enough just to say I love you back to me and then followed that with, "you can't go to work like that!" I was completely nude - but my hair and makeup were done!!

He called an hour later and asked if I ever put my clothes on!

LOL! When the kids were all at home we drove them to the bus stop a couple miles down the road and as teenagers they weren't too keen on the kiss good-bye & "I love you", but we did it anyway! Now that they are all grown and out, our conversations start with telling them it's good to hear from them, and ends with "I Love You". Doesn't matter that daughter lives in the next town, or one son is gone driving 48 states, and the other son is living in Ok. Hubby and I get a kiss and I Love You from each other before we leave to go anywhere, even when we don't like each other that day for some reason...
Oh, DH bought me a curling iron that turns off after so many minutes of non-use, and an iron that does the same just in case. thumbs_up.gif We don't drink coffee here so I don't need to worry about that, all I need to worry about is if I turned off the oven/stove or not!
I especially ask for the Lord to keep us all safe and my son's gaurdian angel thumbs_up.gif to watch over him while he is driving all over the united states.

My mornings start early, I wake up with DH about 4:00 get dressed, make coffee, make lunches, feed the cat, and sit at the computer till about 6:30. Which isn't much time iwth slow dial up, just enough to check emails and CC! Grab something to eat watch the weather get the kids up, feed, do their hair and off to school we go at 7:40. School is a few miles down the road, ALWAYS saying "Have a good day, I Love you". After that I'm left with one little one (2 yrs old) and the day will vary. Sometines home or shopping or visiting or etc.. But my mornings, unless someone gets up early, are ALWAYS the same. Now THAT's what you call scheduled!!

PS. Socks... I get a permanent marker in different colors and when I buy the socks, I find a "safe place" to mark them and using a different color for each kid, I dot a cirlce on them.

I try and get as much done the night before; kid's clothes layed out, lunches made for school, etc. I spend the morning prodding my daughter to eat and then we're out the door to the bus. My husband works a late shift so he's asleep, as is my little one. I get back from the bus and roust the little one and get her ready for preschool.

With all the hectic schedules in the morning, I get the feeling most of the husbands just wake up and go to work! icon_lol.gif

Ok some how I missed this topic... icon_confused.gif I lead a very boring life...LOL In the morning, hubby and I get up while the kids are still sleeping (5:45am) we talk and he helps me do the lunches. He leaves for work about 6:30am, so he eats breakfast and before he leaves, we pray together. When he leaves, I jump in the shower to wake up a little bit. Get the kids up...they eat, brush their teeth and it takes me about 30 minutes of fighting with my DD to brush her hair. We have to leave at 7:15 so they can be at school on time. Before we leave the house, we all 3 (2 boys, 1 girl) pray together and then we head to school. Come home, clean the breakfast mess up. In between chasing my 2 1/2 year old, I come to CC... thumbs_up.gif

Fall out of bed into shower to wake up. Feed the cat, eat breakfast. Dress, make up, hair. Kiss DH goodbye.
