Hi! I have seen Pastry Pride at a cake decorating store, is Rich's Bettercreme a similar product? Does anyone know of any particular/convenient retailers where I can buy these products? The nearest store that I know of where I can buy Pastry Pride is nearly two hours away! Thanks!
I've never used Pastry Pride, but I think it is similar to Rich's Bettercreme. Do you have a Gordon Food Service near you? Ours carries the Rich's. Good luck!
See, that's three of us in California who find it at Smart & Final, I also get it at Cash and Carry. What I don't understand is that it is disributed by a company in Illinoiis and yet people on the eastcoast aren't able to buy it there. Maybe if you guys all bombarde the company with requests for it they will find a supplier for you, here is the address on the container
Cremes Unlimited Inc.
Matteson, Illinois 60443
i get a 2-lb carton for $2.39. it's on sale right now for $2.19. they also have a ginormous carton, i think it's 8-lb. not sure on the price though.
is the pastry pride the same consistency as buttercreme? does it hold well when you make roses or flowers with it, the same as if you made it with buttercreme?
so is that what yall use instead of making your own whipped frosting??? And does anyone know if you can find it in Texas?
