I am about to try my first chocolate transfer on a cake for Monday. I am sooo nervous about it!!! All the things I read about them sound easy but melting that chocolate just right and getting the right amount on the transfer has me with the heebe jeebees!!!!

Does anyone have any tips/suggestions that might ease my fears!!!

I have used candy melts to do the two CT's I have done (see my photos). Just put them in disposable pastry bags, heated them up in the microwave, cut a small hole in the tip and went on from there. Outlines first (used dark choclate flavor/color), then filled in with the colors that I wanted. I did get coloring book pages off the internet so they would be very simple designs. Was fun to do!

They are really easy, my favorite kind of transfer.
Use candy melts so you don't have to temper.
Let the outline set before you start filling in and do them on wax paper, they come right off once they are hard.
