OK at the risk of sounding sarcastic LOL... Place the batter in the ice cream cones and bake. You need the cones with the flat bottoms. I would think about 50 mL of batter or so would do the trick. Place in a sheet pan and carefully place in the oven.
To ice them use Tip 1M it's a large star tip. Make a rosette to get that nice swirly look. You can add two colors to The bag too maye it look lie those soft ice cream cones
Optional:
A dollop of whip cream on top
A cherry
Chocolate Syrup
Or any other ice cream topping
(Kepp nut allergies in mind.)
Hope this helps

P.S. I Am sitting here going I hope she/he does not think I Am trying to be a smartass. LOL and I Am laughing so hard My stomach hurts because I Am thinking it sounds smartassish.
Gibson, I just did the ice cream cone cupcakes. They are in my photo gallery. I also did sundae cupcakes. I put buttercream and chocolate buttercream in the bag together, used an open star tip and swirled them together. They went over very well at the fundraiser I made them for. To transport them I used the bottom of a 24-pack of bottled water. I just turned it upside down, cut out the holes, covered in tinfoil and put the cones in. I hope this helps you.
Oh by the way, make sure you only fill them a little more than half way. They will rise while they bake. I learned this the hard way
It might help if you test a couple out to see what the right level of batter is.
Aren't Those boxes handy? I a few save mine and use it when I am making flowers and fondant stuff. They become my drying station. It's so handy.
Princess
I made some ice cream cone cupcakes in the past and I put each filled cone in a cupcake tin and put aluminum foil around the bottome of each so that they are supported when baking.
Princess - that's a good use for the box. I never thought of that. I'll have to save all of them from now on. ![]()
Gibson - thanks for the compliment. I had posted on this subject right before I made these and everyone was so helpful. Good luck on the cupcakes ..can't wait to see the pictures.
