Does anyone have a good recipe for chocolate peanut butter BC? Im going to do a Snickers Cake next weekend and I thought that might be good. Im not going to do the whole cake in it,just some of the decoration. Any ideas? icon_smile.gif

Thanks

You could stir in a little cocoa powder, some powdered sugar and maybe a little butter into some creamy peanut butter and see how that comes out...

Just a thought.

Im the type to eat pb straight out of the jar, so that sounds really good! I'll experiment a little with that and see how it works. Thanks a bunch! icon_biggrin.gif

I know that I make these peanut butter buckeyes like that (only I use chocolate chips no cocoa powder)...LOL...I don't know how easily it will go through a piping bag...but if you have ideas on how to thin out peanut butter SHARE THEM! LOL...I would love to decorate with PB.

Let me know how it goes. icon_biggrin.gif

You know, I hadnt thought about how thick that would be. I guess I could thin it down with some milk and see how the would work. And BTW, I LOVE buckeyes! thumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks again!

Here is one that I found here. I bet you could add chocolate:

If you like peanut butter you'll love this frosting, great on chocolate cakes but for a real peanut butter experience try it on a peanut butter cake. If you don't have cream, you may substitute milk.

1/2 cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup cream

1 In a large bowl, beat butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy.

2 Slowly beat in 1/2 of the confectioner's sugar.
Mix in 1/4 cup of the cream.
Beat in the remaining confectioners' sugar.

If necessary, add a little more cream or milk until the frosting reaches a good spreading consistency.

Makes enough to frost one 2 layer 9 inch cake or one 9x13 inch cake.
