I get it there is not as much need anymore for sites like CC. But I don't get why this has turned into such a hot mess - of it's the cost of the server and/or the (non-existent) upkeep sign it over to me!!! It can just bee kept up as a searchable archive without a hundred ads every time you click on a page.
My dear it all depends on what navigator you use. I use Microsoft edge and don't get any ads. Certainly, some pages do not allow me to stay in because of the ad blocker... well, those are the pages I want to be away from precisely because of the ads.... Cake Central has become a relic on how life was before social media, just for people like me who never joined social media... Good luck!

I used to be an admin on cakes/we/bake website. It was lagging like CC. I’ve not been trying to log on, but error “404” shows up. So pretty sure cakes/we/bake website is now defunct. Social media like fb & instagram are where all the cake decorating is now.
