Has anyone taught a class on buttercream piping techniques? I have had a request to do so. My there a less expensive altternative than buttercream and how to teach techniques vertically. Not sure if I should supply some cakes that they can practice on and take home, buy dumbies or some other option. If you have done this, would you mind sharing your basic outline for the class. Thanks in advance. :)

Sure hope you haven’t given up on getting an answer here.  I forget to ck this site when I get busy.

It’s been many years since I taught.  Yes I wrote my own class on b’cream flowers… not sure if I still have the plan.  Do you have any old Wilton yearbooks — like from the’80-90?   In the back usually there are instructions on how to make whatever flowers are featured in that issue.   That’s where I got most of the directions when I made up my class. Hope this helps.  Any other questions just give me a holler
