Hi hive mind! so I've been doing my(large) family wedding and other special occasion cakes for over 2 decades now. I'm a chef myself so inspiration should be easy ahahah. My latest nephew to get engaged is a chef as is his fiancee. they've been together forever. Wedding is at least a year out. For time being I'm making an engagement cake next week. Small surprise family gathering. Simple size, one tier. I did naked wedding cake for my niece last summer, really loving the elegance, might go naked or ombre,not sure yet. I'd love to very elegantly incorporate the essence of 2 chefs getting marrie, without having a cake covered in knives and chef hats lol. Just hoping for a bunch of spitballing or brainstorming in form of pics or ideas, like instead of two wedding rings on top, idk, 5am I haven't had caffeine yet. some ideas would be appreciated. thanks ! Sorry you have not had any response to your inquiry. This site has had problems for a long time now. NO pix can be posted. One can post a link to find the pix somewhere else. I'm not good at thinking up designs. I rely on google for that. :) Better luck soon.
