I was wondering if any of you out there are any good at dividing recipes, or at least cutting them down. I made a 9" 2-layer cake recently with Kaye's buttercream, and I had LOTS of leftover frosting. I am absolutely horrible at math, and i was just wondering if anyone had a good trick or anything to not make so much icing only to end up throwing it out. Sometimes 1 cake is all i need!

frosting can be froze.... and if you dont freeze it, it will stay great in fridge for up to two weeks....
