Welcome! I don't think I ever officially introduced myself! Name is Helen. Married 36 years, 3 grown sons, 2 married & last one to be married in March. Started doing cakes in 1972. First cake was a 13x9 flag cake. Took me 7 1/2 hours!!!!! Been doing homemade candy & handpainted chocolates since 1978. Love, love, this site!

I'm a wife and mom of three "grown" kids....nest just emptied last month. Daughter 22, son 21, son 18 My husband and I own and operate a commercial sign busines. I do most of the design work. We live in southern Kansas and are very involved in our church. Oh ya...and we LOVE K-STATE! lol

I think the way you speak about your daughter-in-law is great!!!! My mother-in -law to be never has anything good to say about me and I bend over backwards trying to make her happy. It sounds like you really appreciate her and that's really amazing. She's very lucky to have you.
