Hi everyone, 

I am a hobby baker and a friend asked me for a cake that she will use on a Monday. I agreed before realizing that I will be out of town that weekend from Thursday - Sunday. Will it be ok to prepare the cake, decorated and all that Wednesday night before I leave? or will it be ruined and dry?

For most decorations, with the exception of gum paste, you can fully decorate, seal in a box and freeze. Remove it from the freezer, but leave it sealed in the box to fully thaw.
