so I just got my work table cleaned off and it really helped clear some cranial cobwebs -- I'd been dithered, hesitant to get going on a project -- I'm free & clear with a bright green light right now will proceed with guns blazing -- glue guns that is -- i've been thinking of y'all and our countries and world and when I get encouraged I wanna share those good thoughts -- seems like everytime we turn around there's one more sucker punch to the already bruised gut but that dismal thought is for another time --

Mine was my grandfather's favorite old saying... I must quote him, because he would repeat the same thing over and over again...But the original is probably another one of those anonymous old sayings!
The original was in Spanish... with my poor translation skills it would sound like this: "The more I get to know humanity, the more I love my dog"

I really never understood the quote as a child... Then I became and adult...dealing with humans and...Voila!
Dogs, cats, horses, chickens, I could substitute any animal. I adore them all and they are so innocent. One of my favorite quotes has always been (and I think it is by Shakespeare), "It is better to have known love and lost than to have never known love at all."
