Has anyone laid in a good supply of what they need for their business since the shortages started?
At this point I think the only good thing I have in good supply is patience! There is no way to sort out the shortages, as they are like COVID...Unpredictable! Plus, people panicking everywhere, and restrictions are not helping.
Seriously, the only thing we need at this point is PATIENCE, and LOTS of it!
Good Luck to you!
my supply of patience has recently been enriched a bit but earlier in life I left the lid off mine and it's mostly evaporated -- I actually have a jar called "ashes of idiots" -- I kept in on my desk at work at the phone company --
and I would say stock up on anything you can because if the past year is an example of the pathway we're continuing on, prices have only just begun to bite -- unfortunately --
Oh yes prices... how to neglect that! The few times I'm able to find the stuff I REALLY need... I simply can afford it anymore... like $22 for a mouth rinse...are they adding gold dust to this new formula? Unbleached flour... nowhere to be found, you only find the expensive brands no one want or can buy. Good for me I come from a communist country where everything is hard to find. Sure, patience is the order of the day!
By the way boss, I need one of those ashes of idiots jars...I'll get myself one from the clearance section once valentines is over...I want mine with pink hearts!
even with the hearts it seems a tiny bit more heartless than my plain one happy valentine's
hopefully, you've all done the same for your families.......... stocked up a bit that is. Dried beans & rice, soup cans, powdered milk, water etc. Just a bit to hold you through if everything gets cut short. Spam can fry up and taste pretty good when there's a food shortage. This year I taught myself how to make homemade tortillas on the grill, in case the yeast shortage became an issue. I can live without cake, but not bread. Please keep all these lessons learned in your minds and teach others to do a little looking forward to hard times in the future.
