I want to make a 'butter'cream with maple syrup (not extract) and no dairy. I have a Bourbon Barrel aged Maple I want to highlight.
I found this recipe online and it looks like what I want (subbing non dairy milk oc) but no reviews. Has anyone here made something similar you can recommend?
CRISCO'S MAPLE FROSTING
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. maple blend syrup
1/4 c. Crisco
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
I have never heard of it so therefore I don’t know for sure but it looks like it will be fine .
