there is way that will not alter the recipe … add maybe a couple of teaspoons of butter extract.
You can add brown sugar and browned butter. I add browned butter to a white/vanilla cake, and it really gives a “golden” flavour.
About three drops of yellow food coloring should do the trick or (for completely natural color) a pinch of turmeric.
