So - a finger cake.  The Finger cake

Thinking of making it a 1/4 or 1/2 sheet cake and carving it.  I can’t find anything similar online.  I need something so I can reference shadows, shapes, and coloring.

It’s going to be a female hand, Caucasian.

Google photos of real hands, choose one you like and use it as a guide.  You can print it out in the size you want the cake to be and use it as a template, not just a reference for shadows, etc.
