Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to use Candy Melts to create a drip on a fondant covered cake.
I read somewhere that chocolate ganache drip should not be used on fondant, I realise candy melts are slightly different but still contain cocoa butter (I could be wrong on that).
I need to create a dripping blood effect on a cake and where I can use royal icing it tends to add too much icing to the cake.

I use candy melts for drip cakes all the time, but I've never done a drip on fondant (because I hate it), only buttercream or ganache. I cannot think of a reason why it wouldn't work on fondant.
