Vegan Pudding-Like Filling Non-Refrigerated

I. Need. Help.
I am looking for some sort of pudding or custard-like filling that does not need to be refrigerated to go in a vegan cassata cake. It seems that the non-dairy Pastry Pride is the way to go, but I cannot find where to get it in Cleveland, Ohio.
I have no experience with vegan cooking so unable to help. Sorry.
try a grocery store serving a jewish community -- but you gotta check all those ingredients because weird stuff can be in there --
And as K8 said read labels as I don’t know what’s vegan or not.
