Is The Original Wasc Recipe Better Thick?

I feel like the batter would be thick. I am going to try it out this week as I need a better recipe for stacking cakes for a three tier cake. Judging by the ingredients it seems it would be thick from not alot of liquids. How does it cook? Do you fill the same amount of batter as any other in the cake pans? Thnx
It is a batter that I consider to be medium thickness. It does have one cup of water, one cup of sour cream and three eggs, quite a lot of liquid.
I guess I always put about the same amount of batter in the pans, no matter the recipe, about 1/2 full.
No the batter is not very thick — as Sandra said it’s medium. 1 + cup liquid (water, juice, milk etc) plus 1 cup sour cream (which becomes liquid when stirred) & 3 eggs compared to some 26 oz of dry ingredients results in a medium batter consistency. Also as she said fill ur 2” deep pans a tad more than 1/2 full.
