Will 2 different coloured melts mix to produce a 3rd? Such as blue and yellow to make green. I want to make a multicoloured drip cake but don't want to buy lots of different candy melts if I don't need to.

I have never tried it, but I am sure it would work.  No telling what colors will result, though, as the candy melt colors are not necessarily true primary colors.  Our Walmart carries tiny little packs of Wilton Candy Melts which would be perfect for your application.

It works :)

and if you want lighter pastel colors, just add white candy melts to whatever color you’re trying to lighten.
