I have been asked by two of my friends to make a cake for their wedding.  I want to base it on a Viennese sponge for stability and they want it to be chocolate flavour .  Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe for a 12"  chocolate Viennese sponge.

I've never even heard of a Viennese sponge.
