Hey all, so I wanted some opinions here, last year I had a customer who was somewhat difficult, it was a 3 tier cake, she changed her theme, 2 twice, her design 3 times, and her flavors 3 times (1st all vanilla, 2nd 1 tier vanilla, 3 strawberry, 3rd all 3 vanilla) anywho, once she received the cake, she loved it..yada yada, the following morning she messaged me and said, she wanted the whole cake strawberry, and I did one tier vanilla, I told her sorry, in could make her a strawberry cake no charge, or provide her with a credit on another cake, she said she felt a refund was was fair, blah blah, ..I ended up sending her $25, ( mind you, she got a 8/10 with a all cake basketball on top for $190) . So she contacts me this week to make her son's 1st birthday cake, I have not replied, I don't have any plans on doing this for her, but I wondered what others would do?

I tend to agree with maybenot, not the kind of customer you need in your life. Even if she paid you a decent price for the cake, she would probably still drive you nuts. The virus is a graceful way to decline.

I have zero tolerance for ungrateful people, so she is a definite NO for me.

"Sorry, I'm completely booked up", it works great for anything you don't want to do. First birthdays by picky moms are the worst!!!! Non-picky moms are fine. The picky ones I spend way too much time going over details with them with so many calls, texts, emails, that the time invested is just not worth it.

Oh nell no. You could use the COVID19 as an excuse for not taking her order
