I have been having trouble getting my chocolate and candy melts to set after melting and pouring.
I have added a little paraffin, but that didn't help. When I added more it tasted like paraffin.
I've put them in the fridge and freezer, but when I take them out they get soft again. It's very frustrating.
I'll try any suggestions.
I have absolutely no idea, never had this experience. Even if the candy melts or chocolate had been over heated, it seems it would still set up, with or without paraffin. Are you adding anything else?

What brand of melts are you using? I’m thinking there is something wrong with them I can’t remember ever having to add paraffin.
