Oh, Sandra....again with the kindness. :)
The walker is not too bad, once I got used to it. And when I go shopping, I just make sure the store has carts with which to lean on while I'm there. And the only real reason I have to use it at home is, (Please hold the admonishments....I'm an already the hardest on myself) when I have to go outside, to the gate of the apartment complex, to......smoke. After 7 years of doing so, by agreement In my lease, I was commanded to smoke 'off the premises. Luckily, it's only about 25-30 yds. to that point. So, 5 to 7 times a day, I hobble on out there, to sit down on the walker (thank god it has a seat!) and smoke. Then again, that's also how I get quite a bit of my exercise. After 3 years now, I'm kinda used to it. it's only horrible when it's Raining, 105, or 48 degrees...which is cold for So Cal. (I think I'm rambling again)
In other words....I deal with it. But if I ever get and affordable chance to correct whatever is wrong with my back, I'll jump on it! Then, I would only have the Fibromyalgia and peripheral neuropathy to deal with.
I appreciate you checking in here. And now that I Know that, I might have more questions. That is, until my attention turns to a hobby other than baking. And now I also know that even if it's not for me, I can come back and put up questions here. BTW...Is it better to continue in a conversation, or start new ones, say if I switch to the baked bread? I think I'm getting curious about Brioche and Challah....Starting with...what's the difference?
Peace!
Oh Christie How awful for you!!! Fibromyalgia AND neuropathy!!! My husband has neuropathy in his left foot and bottom of his leg. Twofold reasons...hubby has a bulging disc that no surgeon seems to want to fix. And hubby had cancer many, many years ago. A large sarcoma (cancer of the connective tissue) removed from the back of his left leg, just below the buttocks. Has a large scar, and in that area no feeling, no hair growth from multiple radiation treatments. Hubby rarely complains.
June....
Sorry to hear that your husband has, and is going through all that. In a way, I can relate to it. And thank you for your kind words to me. I just accept that I've been dealt a bit of a bad hand, so I try to bluff my way through life sometimes. Strange metaphor (?) there, but it came out! lol As long as I can keep a roof over my head, food on the table, something to watch on TV or internet, and Great comradery like I have here, I'm a happy person. And when I can make others happy, through goodies, masks, or whatever else I can create, I'm extra happy, and Satisfied that I've done something good. I've learned just How important being productive is to me and my life! :)
I definitely see orange rolls in the very near future! Especially since the cinnamon ones are All gone.
Thanks for the link, too!
Peace!
Found my old pictures...….
First one is before baking (second rise) which are larger and higher than the ones from 2 days ago that I was asking all the questions about. And the Third picture is today's proofing of the Same yeast I used in the new rolls. It Looks live to me! lolol

Those buns look fabulous and, oh yes, the yeast is very active!
It probably is a little easer to start a new post than to try and scroll such a large one, but I am happy to read everyone's comments no matter how they are posted.
