Squeeee! Yellow Cake Success!

Hey guys, I'm a new member and i have loved baking my whole life since I was a boy and would bake with my beloved Great Aunt with my younger brother.  After she passed on, I had hoped I'd inherit her dark green Kitchen Aid, which we would use to bake gingerbread, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I hate to say this, but I suspect Dad his it away to auction off as he did with the Family Silver that Aunt Liz wanted me to have.  I love my Dad dearly, but he cannot be trusted around antiques or items of value as his eyes will light up with dollar signs because he does not empathize with others' emotional attachments.  That's why, when Aunt Liz gave Mom the family china (back when he and Mom were still married) she hid it at her Mom's place because she didn't trust that Dad wouldn't sell them.  Unfortunately, someone on Mom's side of the family took Aunt Liz's china, because when Grandmother passed, Mom went looking for the china and found that it was gone.  :\  But, I digress...  It took me a couple of years, but i was able to save up for my own Kitchen Aid, which is French Country Blue (a now vintage color).

However, after several years of trial and error, and trying many bad recipes, I have finally had success in baking a yellow cake that was actually better than a box-mix!  The last several cake recipes I'd tried came out far too dense, but the interior was still acceptable.  I figured something might be amiss because the batter was more like a slack cookie dough!  So, this month for my birthday I decided to cobble together two recipes, and the end result was AMAZING! I suspected greatness when I tasted the finished batter that had the precise flavor and consistency of a box-mix, I even noticed it was baking up like a boxed mix because it had those bubbled at the top.  :)  Suffice it to say that this will be my Standard Cake recipe for years to come.  I'd just like to know where I can buy a better brand of butter flavoring.  Albeit's a butter-based cake (with a bit of oil for moisture), I like to add equal parts butter flavoring and vanilla extract to the batter.  So, I'm looking for a better quality butter flavoring than McCormick.

Thanks!
