Quick question, I’m making a strawberry cake in 2 days but bought the strawberries today, if I make a strawberry reduction now can I refrigerate it and use it on Thursday?

I've never used a strawberry reduction, just fresh strawberries, but I seen no reason why it would not refrigerate well for a few days.  I would not hesitate to try it.

I think I may try the strawberry reduction next time I make a strawberry cake to see if it add a more intense flavor.
