Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to attach this board that goes behind the cake? It’s supposed to be sturdy enough to handle the weight of the decorations. I thought about using a foam core and adhered with a glue gun, but I don’t think it’ll stay in place, it’ll probably be very wobbly. I haven’t seen this design before and searched online but found no tutorials. Please help, and thanks! Vertical Cake Board?

The foam core board is what I’d try Can’t think of anything else

I would use plywood or partical board.  Cut the backboard the size you desire, then cut a second board the same size upon which the cake will set.  Screw the two pieces together along the back edge of the horizontal board.

I had a cancellation on this one. I guess it’s understandable during this tough time

Yes, but it may very well be reordered after everything settles.

Since it’s a birthday celebration I doubt that. But maybe someone else will. Stay safe :)

I am rescheduling MY birthday celebration because our favorite restaurant was not open on my birthday.
