Cake Size For 60 People

Hi, so my aunt wants a sheet cake the feed 60 people and I wondering if 1/2 sheet of about 4 in tall will feed 60 people or should I make the full sheet I got the pan from Walmart Wilton

What are the measurements of the pan you are calling a 1/2 sheet? It is very easy to figure Say it’s 12x16 & 4” tall it would be cut into slices 1x2x4 sooo there will be 14 or 15 slices x3 for a total of 45 +\- a few Giving a bit of leeway for unskilled cutting Say the pan is 9x13 it would be cut in 6 slices long ways & 4 the other way for a total of 24 servings

For 60 you could put a 10x4” round on top or cut the round in 1/2 & put one 1/2 on each end This will mean getting a special board Places like Home Depot will cut any size you need
