Anyone know how long the new sugar sheet technique lasts once on the Cake? Want to know if I can  apply the day before and how long will it last once on the cake?

I could be way wrong, but sugar work, like caramel or hard candy decorations, do not hold up well at all and will melt out of shape quickly.  I would be afraid the sugar sheets would do the same thing and wait until shortly before serving to apply them.
