How Do I Create These Pleats/triangles? Fondant/gumpaste/wafer Paper?

od Morning,
My bride has requested the pleats/triangles on this cake. I know Liz M. has a tutorial but to me these look like they were folded not pieced together. Does anyone know what medium was used? Does anyone know who made it? It was in a magazine article. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

NOT MY CAKE

If I had to guess, I would say this one is made of wafer paper. You just try using a plain sheet of paper and see if you could fold the pattern on one long sheet. It would probably be tricky. I agree with kakeladi, doing it one triangle at a time would work for sure.
Thank you all Guess I will be making LOTS of triangles.
I accidentally stumbled across the originator of this cake today, business name Crummbs. She is a Canadian designer and absolutely fantastic! She had several cakes using the folded triangle design and it did appear that they were one individually.
OH MY GOSH!!! Thank you Sandra. I will go look immediately and if she is willing to help. THANK YOU

Unfortunately, Sandra is right about the decorator, wrong that she’s Canadian. Her name is Paulin, and she is in Singapore. Website posted.
Thank you jchuck. I wrote her this morning. She is one very busy lady so I am just hoping she will respond.
Thank you everyone. I really appreciate your help.
Now, why did I think she was Canadian? I think I just sort of associate awesome cakes with Canada, lol.
