I think cream cheese icing would be delicious. Or some type of caramel would be good too!!

On this site in the recipes, there is a Butter Pecan Mousse recipe that is out of this world!!!

Butter Pecan cake with Cream Cheese frosting is my all time favorite! I've never done a filling but maybe you could mix some actual pecans with the cream cheese frosting and fill it with that.

I had a butter pecan cake with the coconut/pecan/caramel icing that people normally put on german chocolate cakes. It was probably one of the best cakes I have ever tasted!!! thumbs_up.gif

I do it with Maple buttercream using real maple extract (instead of vanilla or butter or almond). It's the family's favorite combination.
