If I'm doing an 11x15x2" cake an I'm using the WASC recipe, how many cake mixes do I need?? I always use DH cakes mixes. Thanks everyone, Danielle

I didn’t use that size pan but I think one batch oh the recipe should be enough   It might be better if you used 2  mixes & the “extra” ingredients listed   I often did that for certain size pans   In other words it would be as follows: 2 mixes, 5 whole egg, 2 cups any liquid, 1cup flour 1cup sugar 1 cup sour cream & the rest of the ingredients listed  in the *original* recipe w/no other changes   This might give you a little more batter than you need if so make cupcakes

Just had a thought about this  — your pan is just a bit smaller than the size I used most often & it took 2WASC recipes My mixer wasn’t big enough to handle that much batter at once so made recipe twice   Any extra batter went into cupcakes
