Jiggly Cake Question

Dear Bakers,

Last time I baked a jiggly cake, it was perfect and it jiggled. But I had a question about it.

Does it only jiggle when it's warm? The next day it didn't jiggle anymore.

Welcome to our forum   Since you are new you will not be able to reply to any post for about 30 days If you wish to say something start a new post referring to the one you are talking about     Now as for your ? have never heard of such a cake   Tell us about it — give recipe?

The only cake that I've ever heard described as having a jiggle is cheesecake when it is just done and it does set up and loose it's jiggle after it cools off.

I believe you're describing the Japanese jiggly cheesecake - yes, it will lose its jiggle when it's cool and settled.
