Sugared Sheet Technique
Sugar Work By cakesbyraeanderson Updated 29 Jan 2020 , 3:37pm by SandraSmiley
Hello all. I’m new to cakecentral though I’ve been using some helpful cake making tips over the years without joining. Burning question about a seemingly new technique I came across on social media called a sugared sheet. This isn’t your typical icing sheet or wafer paper. It’s actual sugar that wraps around a cake. I know sugar can come together under low heat like this but how they get it flexible to wrap on a cake is my question. Insights?

I have absolutely no idea. This is my first time seeing this, it is beautiful.
