Meringue Lollipops

Hi, 


I am new here! I was hoping someone could help me. I will be making meringue lollipops to decorate a cake but cannot seem to find sticks that are oven safe. Have you ever made these? What did you use? 


I did a trial run with bamboo skewers but the cake is pink and white and I don't like how the bamboo looks. 


Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi & Welcome   As you can see this site is not very active/managed but a few of us stick around to help others who stumble in:)   1st let me explain that being new means you will not be able to reply to any post so if you want to comment on anything just start a new post referring to the one you are referring to   As to your? Sucker sticks need to be soaked in water for about 10 minutes before using them in the oven   I’ve not tried meringue pops but it should work     As for using bamboo maybe cover them w/fondant?   That’s about all I can think of
