I like to make candy eggs with my granddaughters I’m in Perth Australia and can not find one

How exactly do you make your eggs?   Are they cake, melted chocolate, or molded sugar?   Could you use a plastic one?  I made sugar eggs in them for years & they could be used to mold melt chocolate
