Hello, I'm new to this forum but I've been going through it since last year. I've made a crown from 50% fondant and 50% gumpaste, and stuck it to the glass jar (around it, ofcourse :D ), but I made a terrible mistake. I did not put baking paper around the jar, so now my crown is stuck and I don't know what to do. I've tried with a knife from the inside but that doesnt seem to help. What should I do? I know I should've put baking paper around, but it caused me so much stress because I couldn't put it nicely :( Please, if anyone could help me, I'd be really grateful!

Also, I'm kinda new to decorating :) And sorry if my english is bad.

1st no need to apologize for being new to decorating  We’ve all been there at some time :)   Sounds like you have already tried what I would suggest   Have you tried using an off-set cake spatula?   Gently slide it between the jar/glass & the  crown & try to wiggle it   At this point even if it beaks you might be able to use it    The only other thing I can think of is to try to heat the jar — pour boiling water into it   Or maybe microwave it a bit?   Just some random thoughts

I am afraid I cannot add anything to kakeladi's suggestions except maybe wrap one hand around the crown and hold the glass firmly with the other hand and try to "shake/twist" the crown loose.  Good luck!

Also, do not apologize for your English either!  You speak English a lot better than I speak any other language!
