I wanted to make the frosting tonight because when I made this before it had this weird after taste that didn't go away until a day after. So basically this is the kind of frosting that needs to sit a day or so before it tastes really good.
I was going to put the frosting in plastic sealed container and leave it on the counter top until Wednesday morning.
It's also on the back of the Hershey container.
Also could I make the cake as well tonight, and also have it sitting on the counter unfrosted until Wednesday morning? It will be under a plastic cake dome on the counter.
Yes you can bake the cake now I would loosely wrap it in plastic wrap then put it under the dome I don’t think just the dome would be enough After looking at the recipe I suggest keeping it in the fridge Remove to counter that morning to come to room temp should take just about an hour
