Hi! First time posting so I apologize if this topic has already been asked but has anyone tried using the enhanced cake mix formula with boxed carrot cake mix? I have a BC mix but I want to use it in a 3-D skull pan so I need it a little denser to hold shape. Any ideas? I don't have to use the mix either if anyone knows of a homemade recipe that will work! My normal carrot cake recipe is for cupcakes & way too moist to hold shape. Thanks!!

The *original* WASC recipe is perfect for you need in this case :)  https://www.cakecentral.com/recipe/7445/the-original-wasc-cake-recipe    Yes use the BC carrot mix;  I find the carrots in the mix to be rubbery so I add up to 1 cup of grated fresh carrot  and even a jar of babyfood carrots to the mix.  You also could use a spice cake mix adding the grated carrot & babyfood.
