those recipes make nice chewy cookies with sharp edges esp if you delete the baking powder — sometimes I add an egg yolk for an even softer tooth — mmm
this next recipe makes very soft lovely lovely cookies — but you need to flour the board well when you cut them out maybe even knead them a bit — or add another half cup or cup of flour from the get go —
so the cut outs are not as crisp as the nfsc but they do come out — it’s a wonderful wonderful tasting soft vintage cookie — the vinegar in the recipe offsets the typical sugar cookie icing — great without icing too!
