Hey everyone!

Looking for a recipe for some soft sugar cookies that I can cookie cut into snowflakes and decorate with icing (recipes for icing that hardens as well?)

Thanks

those recipes make nice chewy cookies with sharp edges esp if you delete the baking powder — sometimes I add an egg yolk for an even softer tooth — mmm

this next recipe makes very soft lovely lovely cookies — but you need to flour the board well when you cut them out maybe even knead them a bit — or add another half cup or cup of flour from the get go —

so the cut outs are not as crisp as the nfsc but they do come out — it’s a wonderful wonderful tasting soft vintage cookie — the vinegar in the recipe offsets the typical sugar cookie icing — great without icing too!

i’ll put it in the next post...
