Hello, I have never baked a 9x13 cake before only round cakes. I have a recipe where I make 3 8x2 pans that bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes. If I place this batter in the 9x13 cake pan then would it still bake for same time and temperature? The recipe doesn't give any directions for pans. Thanks in advance.
For me a 9x13 bakes the same as a 10” round I preferred to bake at 300 degrees for about r15 minuets then turn up the temp to 325 for an equal amount of time or until you can smell that wonderful aroma in the next room :) No need for flower nail but it won’t hurt Same for using wet wraps around the outside of the pan I’ve made thousands of cakes w/o either :)
