I am catering my brother’s out of state wedding next month and am planning to use either Rich’s Bettercreme or Pastry Pride as cupcake frosting, as I thought it would be easier than making my own buttercream. My question is, how much do I purchase? It will be bought and transported to the venue, so I need to make sure not to run out, as I won’t be able to purchase more. I am planning to pipe frosting on 125 cupcakes. Thanks for your help!
I only have used PP & think 1 qt will be enough I found from using it that it’s best if NOT defrosted but just scrape out what you think will whip up enough In your case I suggest just doing 1/2 at a time so you know if you need more & how much Well I’m talking as if you have not used it before —Sorry :)
