Looking for a good cake cutting chart for wedding sheet cakes (not single layer Costco style sheet cakes). My cakes are usually 4-5inches tall (4layers cake/3layers filling).
You would cut it in 'wedding' servings -- 1"x2"x4"(height) So if the sheet is 12x16 you would get 12 cuts on the short end by 8 cuts the other way giving you 96 servings total. Of course you could go the other way w/the same results.
wedding sheet cake cutting guide:
That chart is for 2" tall cakes. She is asking for a chart for 4-5" tall cakes. That center diagrahm in the 1st row is actually just as I tried to discribe above........1x2x4(instead of 2") slices.
so make the "wedding" cake 2 layers & 4" tall and you have your wedding slices @. 1" x 2" x 4" ..……………….. I give up.
