Can I pipe buttercream flowers and store them in the frig overnight to place on iced cupcakes the next day?

sure but you can also let them air dry and use later —

K8 is right. That's what I do with most all my BC flowers.

I never sotred mine in a frig.....just let them dry at room temp as the others have said.   Best if you use a crusting b'cream.  I found when I frig or fz flowers they melted sooooo fast I usually lost most of them before I could place them on the cake :(
